Reflecting on 2023: Embracing Change and Finding Home Within

As we approach the end of 2023, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal journey of growth and self-discovery. This year has been a profound experience of learning, unexpected challenges, and, most importantly, embracing change.

Lessons Learned and Unexpected Challenges

Earlier this year, I threw myself into the pursuit of a specific manifestation for my life and family. Drawing inspiration from the new Clairbundant Queen membership (soon to be named Nurture the Witch membership that's another story), I engaged in powerful energetic exercises to co-create my desires. However, just a month into the practices, life threw me an unexpected curveball that left me feeling betrayed and helpless.

Taking time off from my business, I used the setback as an opportunity for deep reflection. Little did I know that what I perceived as a challenge was, in fact, an essential part of my co-creation journey. It made me reevaluate my priorities and desires.

The Concept of Home

One of the key realizations I had was about the concept of "home." I found myself getting caught up in the need of this physical space. Mostly because someone was threatening to take away the home we created if we didn't pay them $600 more a month. Besides the fact that nothing gets fixed when we ask. We end up doing it ourselves, but again that's another story.

We got qualified for a house in the competitive Los Angeles housing market. However, upon closer examination, I discovered that what I truly craved was not a physical home but freedom—the freedom to live life on my terms.

Detaching from Desires

Through this process, I learned the importance of detachment. I had become so attached to the idea of owning a house that it started to feel suffocating. Co-creating and manifesting are about more than just achieving a specific goal; it's about the journey and the lessons learned along the way.

Gratitude and Personal Growth

As I reflect on the year, I'm grateful for the personal growth that emerged from challenges. I've let go of the immediate need for a physical home and focused on finding home within myself and with my family. This year became a journey back to self, a reminder that my home is in my heart.

Exactly what I teach my own clients. And I love that this showed up for me because that means that it is showing up for you too!

Looking Forward to 2024

As we step into 2024, I have exciting plans on the horizon. I'll be starting psychiatric nurse practitioner school, a new spark of passion that might not have ignited if I had rushed into buying a house. This year taught me that what I think I'm co-creating might be preparing me for something even better.

The truth is you don't always know what's best for yourself. And you can't always see the highest potential possibilities because we are clouded by ego and life most times.
